Construction of the bridge part of the project: Bridge Xa At Lao Bao - Den Sa Van border gate - Construction location: At the pair of Lao Bao border gates (Quang Tri) - Den Sa Van (Savanakhet province). - Road grade: Grade III mountainous road. - Type and grade of works: Grade III traffic works. Main scale of the package: - The bridge is made of reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete, including 02 units located on two sides of the existing demand. The design elevation of the new deck is equal to the elevation of the old deck. - Global length to the end of abutment: left unit 27.82m, right unit: 28.39m. - Design load: HL93, person: 3x10-3 MPa. - Design frequency P=4%; Earthquake: Level 6 (MSK-64 scale). - The channel of the boat: The river is not open to the boat. - Bridge size (calculated for each unit): B= 8m+0.5mx2 = 9.0m - Structural plan: + Upper structure: 1x15m span diagram. The cross section consists of 9 prestressed reinforced concrete slab beams of 40MPa grade, beam center distance 1.0m, girder height 0.55m; The bridge deck is made of reinforced concrete of grade 30MPa, 15cm thick, and the bridge deck is covered with BTNC12.5, 7cm thick; Perimeter handrail made of reinforced concrete 25MPa grade; Handrails, handrails: Two outermost handrails of left and right unit with D76mm and 100mm diameter galvanized steel pipe, 4 handrails, middle handrail with D18mm stainless steel chain combined with spheres stainless steel D120mm, steel pillars, 4 railings designed with 4 natural red rubi stone blocks (size and shape similar to 04 stone blocks at the current bridge position); D150mm diameter cast iron bridge deck drainage pipe; Rubber ball bearing steel plate size (120x200x28)mm; steel rail expansion joint. + Lower structure: U-shaped abutment with 30MPa grade reinforced concrete poured in place. Shallow foundation abutment; The guide is made of reinforced concrete of 25MPa level; Four abutment cones are made of 10MPa mortar, the base of the tray is made of BTXM grade 12MPa. + Other structure: At the gap between the old bridge and 02 new bridge units, design retaining walls connecting from the new abutment to the old bridge abutment; Structure: 25MPa reinforced concrete retaining wall, wall body height from 5.5m ÷ 6.0m, length from 4.6m ÷ 9.3m. Above the top of the retaining wall, reinforced concrete beams are guarded to create a space for planting flowers and grass. Structure: The guard beam consists of 5 prefabricated 30MPa reinforced concrete longitudinal beams with dimensions: length from 14.5m ÷ 15.28m, height 0.75m, width 0.4m, and horizontal slabs of prefabricated reinforced concrete grade 30MPa Size: Length from 1.14m ÷ 2.26m, 1.0m wide, 0.1m high.
