1. NEED TO RECRUIT Interpreters ONLY

Within the framework of the project "Strengthening the law and justice in Vietnam" supported by the EU and UNDP, in 2019, the Vietnam Lawyers Association collaborated with UNDP to conduct a survey to assess the need for capacity building of a team of consultants and collaborators providing legal advice and legal aid of the Vietnam Bar Association. In 2020, the Vietnam Bar Association has coordinated with UNDP to select independent experts to develop a training program on legal consulting skills for staff of the Lawyers Association. After the training program was completed, the Vietnam Bar Association organized a consultation workshop for this training program. Based on the results of the workshop, the training program has been revised and completed.

Based on the revised documents mentioned above, the Vietnam Bar Association plans to organize 03 online training courses for the consulting staff of the Vietnam Bar Association across the country (2 days each). .

Participating in the first training were representatives of the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Justice and UNDP project staff.

In order for the training session to be of good quality, it is necessary to have an interpreter for the training.

2. OBJECTIVES TO RECRUIT TRANSLERS ONLY

Content cabin interpretation Training skills and knowledge for source trainers to improve the capacity of legal aid providers and legal consultants of the Vietnam Bar Association.

3. SCOPE OF WORK AND TASKS OF THE SERVICES ONLY

Translation cabin Training on skills and knowledge for source lecturers to improve the capacity of legal aid providers and legal consultants of the Vietnam Bar Association to ensure accuracy and complete content.

4. OUTPUT PRODUCTS

The training content was accurately and fully communicated to the participants in the training session.

6. QUALIFICATION AND CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS

The selection of an interpreter must meet the following requirements:

- Possess a bachelor's degree in English or higher.

- Experience in cabin interpretation from 05 years or more.

- Knowledge of legal knowledge.

7. COST

Local experts are selected by the Vietnam Bar Association on the basis of agreement with UNDP. The cost of hiring experts will be paid directly by the Project Management Board and according to Cost Norm in 2017 and the agreement of the two parties.
