Instructions for Using the VIP7 Package – "Hunting" for Contractor Selection Results

Before using the "hunt" features for contractor selection results, users must first register to the VIP7 software package. With VIP7, contractors are provided with 5 free search filters (additional filters can be purchased using points) and 2 sub-accounts for role assignment (more sub-accounts can be purchased if needed).

Step 1: Set up a Filter

To set up a filter, log in to your registered VIP7 account on DauThau.info, then go to the Member menu → Select Manage Search Filters → Click Add New Filter (see Picture 1).

Step 2: Enter Filter Information

Enter the necessary information in the filter setup form, including: Filter Name, Information For, Email Notification Target, Search Type, Main Keywords, Additional Keywords...

Note: For the Main Keyword field, select Bid award as the type of information.

Step 3: Save, Edit, and Delete Filters

Once the filter setup is complete, click Save Filter to store the information.
 

To check the filter you’ve just created in the VIP7 package, click the filter’s name or the magnifying glass icon, and the system will return results based on your set criteria.
 

If the returned results do not match your expectations, you can click Edit in the Manage Filters section (see Picture 6), or from the DauThau.info homepage, click the Edit icon in the Your Filters section (see Picture 7).
 

Note:

• If the results don’t match your criteria, try adjusting the search period from 14 days to 30 days to see if there are suitable contractor selection results.

• If you find relevant contractor selection results on the website but did not receive an email, check whether your keywords match the ones in those results. If not, add more relevant keywords so the system can identify, filter, and email the appropriate results to you.

Step 4: Check Email for Notifications

Based on the email frequency you set when registering for VIP7 (options include every 1h, 2h, 3h, 6h, or 9h), the system will compile contractor selection results and send them to your inbox (see Picture 8).
 

To view the details of a contractor selection result, click the package name or the View Details button (see Picture 8).
